Quartz crystal

146 x 38 x 31 mm

146 g

Santander, Colombia

NOTE

This piece from Colombia arrived at the 2020 Tucson show.
That year was a bumper crop for Colombian quartz, and even dealers were surprised.

Even without high-purity Colombian Lemurian or Sentient Plasma Crystals, mystical quartz pieces were being unearthed.

This particular stone exhibits a variety of characteristics, like a textbook example of a crystal, such as "Bridge," "Cross," and "Barnacle," as explained in Judy Hall's book "The Crystal Bible."

Furthermore, it shows signs of having nurtured many small points even amidst intense interference, with features like Time Link, Record Keeper, and Keys formed on its facets.

Within the point, there's a cloud-like white section and a clear section, both of which are very beautiful.
Rainbows are visible throughout, and it's a singing crystal that produces a sound when touched.
This is a testament to its high transparency.

It has a very hard, brilliant luster, and its edges are sharp.
There are also parts that resemble a bent crystal, with a slight angle.

Quartz from Colombia evokes the celestial realm.
The heavens feel very close, almost within reach.
Perhaps, surprisingly, it is an angelic stone.

ABOUT CRYSTAL

Colombian quartz

Colombian Lemurian quartz is found in Muzo, Colombia.

The Muzo mines lie in the Eastern Andes (the Oriental Range), a region known for producing emeralds, Colombian Lemurians, and Pathway Quartz. This area was once home to the Muisca people, who developed a distinct culture rooted in shamanic traditions.

Sentient Plasma Crystals, known for their exceptional purity, are said to be mined at higher elevations above the Muzo area.

Santander lies just north of Boyacá, where Muzo is located.

The Oriental Range runs north to south through this region, where high-grade quartz of remarkable clarity—similar to Colombian Lemurians—is found.

There is something deeply compelling about northern South America, particularly the regions of Peru and Colombia along the Andes.

Just as Sentient Plasma Crystals are said to carry a “Sirius grid,” this region may hold a similar resonance.

Sacrifice

South America was colonized by Spain and Portugal, and the influence of Catholicism remains strong to this day.

Colombia itself is named after Christopher Columbus. In recent years, following the BLM movement, statues of Columbus were toppled in the United States—bringing renewed attention to the history of colonization, where countless lives were lost to violence and disease.

That sense of sacrifice seems to linger in the land, as if a collective human memory—or trauma—has resurfaced.

The tensions we see today may also reflect a deeper re-examination of history and identity, even on a personal level.

Crystals bearing markings reminiscent of stigmata can serve as companions on an inner journey—helping us face our origins and the hidden layers of our past.

What within us has been sacrificed?

What have we sacrificed?

These are questions such crystals may quietly invite us to explore.

Materials + Care
  • We offer natural, unpolished quartz crystals in our shop.
In rare cases, a polished surface may appear on a terminal or prism face of a crystal. In such cases, this will always be clearly stated in the product description. If no such note is included, the crystal is unpolished.

  • If there is any noticeable damage, it will be shown in the photographs or mentioned in the product description. As these are natural minerals, please enjoy such features as part of the crystal’s unique character.

  • Quartz crystals are sensitive to dryness, so we recommend periodic cleansing with water as part of their care.
