NOTE

Alpine quartz crystals are often quite small—many only fingertip-sized—making this exceptionally large specimen a rare find.
A magnificent 180 g smoky quartz with the brilliance and clarity of gem quality.

The crystal displays a cathedral formation, where the terminal faces branch and rise together.
A large and vivid rainbow appears inside the crystal, reflecting its remarkable brilliance and transparency.
Two distinct Time Links can be observed, along with a glyph marking.

Due to the cathedral structure, the terminal faces also show barcode-like ledges similar to those seen on the pillar.

The ledge running down the middle of the pillar is a strong manifestation of the crystal's vertical energy, like a spine.
It also looks like bone marrow.

The color of smoky quartz is the color of the lower body, but the seven strong colors of the rainbow are also the color of the upper body, so I think it is a stone that is suitable for centering from bottom to top.
It's a crystal that looks like it has a spine.

The base is self-healed, but if you look closely you can see a pattern that looks like a flower blooming.
This represents the swirling, spreading energy of this stone, and I think it is a stone with a strong vortex.

Swiss quartz is know as an origin of Guindel crystal and is frequently seen in smoky quartz.
Smoky quartz is born by natural radiation, so it may be that some strong thermal energy was added to it, creating a quartz with a change in color and a strong vortex.

A handy, lightweight quartz crystal that makes it easy to place your fingers on the self-healing surface.
The swirling crystal has a shape that makes it easy to hold.
Fleming's left-hand rule represents the direction of energy such as electric current or magnetic field with the hand, and if you were to shape your hand like the hand-rule, it would suit to the shape of a crystal being held in your hand.

A precious crystal for collectors.
I think it was a lucky encounter.

ABOUT CRYSTAL

Alpine Quartz

The Alps are part of the same Alpine–Himalayan orogenic belt as the Himalayas. Perhaps for this reason, some Alpine crystals display a strong luster, exceptional clarity, freshness, and a deep, moisture-rich quality, making them sometimes almost indistinguishable from Himalayan quartz.

Both the Alps and the Himalayas are rugged high mountain regions, where a wide variety of crystals are hand-extracted from small pockets.

The Tessin habit is a form commonly seen in Alpine quartz, with sharply flattened faces converging toward a pointed, hat-like tip, while the base remains rounded and full, like a roly-poly doll—creating a striking contrast between the tip and the base.

Perhaps because they somehow resemble human figures, I find myself drawn to them. Their full, rounded forms evoke a feminine presence, and some are occasionally found without terminal faces, and that is one of the reasons I find myself drawn to them.

The Alps and the Himalayas

There is a linguistic classification known as the Indo-European language family, and many of its cultures developed around the Alpine–Himalayan orogenic belt. It makes one wonder whether ancient peoples settled in these ancient mountain ranges.

Although their languages and cultures are very different, they share common features, such as strict social hierarchies and highly refined cultural traditions.

Stones often reflect the essence of the land from which they come.

Though Alpine quartz shares the same geological origin as Himalayan quartz, it carries a more refined and elegant quality, while Himalayan quartz has a deeper, moisture-rich quality. Alpine quartz has a sense of brightness.

Himalayan quartz works well with heavier or negative energies, while Alpine quartz works well with positive emotions and energy.

The Himalayas feel connected to the past, whereas the Alps carry an energy oriented toward the future.

Materials + Care
  • We offer natural, unpolished quartz crystals in our shop.
In rare cases, a polished surface may appear on a terminal or prism face of a crystal. In such cases, this will always be clearly stated in the product description. If no such note is included, the crystal is unpolished.

  • If there is any noticeable damage, it will be shown in the photographs or mentioned in the product description. As these are natural minerals, please enjoy such features as part of the crystal’s unique character.

  • Quartz crystals are sensitive to dryness, so we recommend periodic cleansing with water as part of their care.
