透明なクリア・クォーツに白い部分が多いと、「白濁している」とも言われますが、ホワイトクォーツはクリアな透明水晶よりも、癒しの力に優れているのを感じます。

クリアな透明水晶は確かに透明感が美しいですが、鏡のように己を反射反映します。水のような透明感に清められて癒されることもあるでしょうが、ホワイトクォーツの雪のような白さは、こちらの感情を包み込む優しさや包容力があり、クリアな水晶にはないものです。

ホワイトクォーツが白いのは、氷と同じ原理で、氷も水晶も透明な中に白い部分がありますが、氷（水晶）が出来上がる時の結晶の乱れや微結晶や不純物（ミネラル）の集まりで白くなるのだそうです。
