NOTE

Pink manganese calcite from Bulgaria.

Pink calcite from Madan, Bulgaria, combines the softness of calcite with a pale pink color,
creating an aura of gentle, embracing compassion.

The pink color is due to trace amounts of manganese in the calcite.
It fluoresces in response to manganese.

This is a high-quality cluster with clearly visible, delicate, fold-like crystals.
It's rare to see a piece where the tabular crystals stack and remain, resembling hoarfrost, instead of forming cubes.

Bulgarian minerals have unique characteristics, and we are also focusing on them metaphysically.
As it comes from a mineral area with clues related to Sirius, it carries a Sirian energy.

ABOUT CRYSTAL

Calcite

Calcite has a rhombohedral cleavage and forms in a wide variety of shapes—from delicate, petal-like layers to bold rhombohedral and dogtooth forms.

It is one of the most common minerals, alongside quartz, and its colors vary depending on trace elements: iron brings golden or orange tones, while manganese creates soft pink hues. The name “calcite” comes from calcium or lime, and it is not resistant to water. When calcite forms from many tiny grains clustered together, it becomes marble.

Healing Qualities & Origin

Calcite is known for its gentle, approachable energy and is associated with prosperity, success, and hope. Common minerals such as calcite, chalcedony, quartz, agate, and selenite are valued for their strong healing and protective qualities, often sharing a soft, calming presence—perhaps linked to their connection with biological materials like shells. Similar in composition and structure to white coral, calcite carries an ocean-like sense of healing.

Yunnan Province in China is a well-known source of beautiful calcite, and much of the land was once under the sea, which explains the abundance of calcite formed from shells and marine life. It has a deeply relaxing energy, like the gentle rhythm of ocean waves.

Materials + Care
  • We offer natural, unpolished quartz crystals in our shop.
In rare cases, a polished surface may appear on a terminal or prism face of a crystal. In such cases, this will always be clearly stated in the product description. If no such note is included, the crystal is unpolished.

  • If there is any noticeable damage, it will be shown in the photographs or mentioned in the product description. As these are natural minerals, please enjoy such features as part of the crystal’s unique character.

  • Quartz crystals are sensitive to dryness, so we recommend periodic cleansing with water as part of their care.
