NOTE

A twin point featuring a bridge crystal growing from the main crystal, along with companion points and numerous smaller crystals.

At the lower part, a point extending horizontally has penetrated into the main crystal, forming a cross.
The crossing crystal has developed terminal faces at its base, giving it the appearance of a double-terminated crystal.

At first glance this quartz appears quite spectacular, as it combines many features — a twin, a companion, a penetrating cross, bridge formations, and a double-terminated crystal.

One of the prism faces shows a large key that has self-healed.

Although part of the top shows a natural abrasion, faint trigonic markings can be seen on terminal faces.

The surface has a rich, oily luster with strong brilliance, and colorful internal rainbows shimmer within — a Devic Temple presence.

With so many remarkable features, it truly reflects the extraordinary nature of Miyazaki quartz.

Crystals with many formations seem to possess a stronger presence — stimulating the imagination and perhaps even guiding the mind.

The cluster grows like fingers extending outward, and in some angles, the crystals spread like feathers, giving the impression of wings.

When I first opened my shop, I introduced Miyazaki quartz. I was deeply moved by its beauty, yet it was extremely difficult to obtain due to the lack of established distribution.

Several years have passed, and with the emergence of the Miyazaki quartz name as a recognized origin, it has become available once more.

Because of its very limited production and the uncertainty of future yields — and because it comes from a land associated with the myth of the Heavenly Descent — it is highly valued.

Yet the emergence of such distinctive forms and mystical presences suggests that this land itself is truly special.

These crystals are hand-mined deep within the forests of Miyazaki Prefecture.

A certificate of origin issued by the miner will be enclosed.

ABOUT CRYSTAL

Miyazaki Crystal

Miyazaki Prefecture is a mountainous region located between Mount Aso and Mount Shinmoedake, home to Kirishima. Kyushu, home to active volcanoes such as the constantly erupting Sakurajima and the super-powerful Mount Aso, must have been an area of great tectonic activity. Minerals like quartz are produced in fault zones where tectonic activity occurred in ancient times. Southern Kyushu may be an area blessed with minerals.

Miyazaki crystal is a high-quality crystal mined in the foothills of the Kumamoto prefecture border, such as Takachiho Town and Itaya, Nishimera Village. Mount Sobo, which is also on the border with Oita prefecture, is also a crystal production area, and Marimo crystals are mined on the Oita side. The reason why famous crystal production areas are scattered all around Miyazaki prefecture is because of its rugged mountainous terrain. In fact, Miyazaki prefecture is also a famous crystal production area, fitting for the myth of the descent of the heavenly grandson.

Clear, shining quartz is found in Itaya, Nishimera Village (quartz), while strangely shaped quartz and candle quartz are mined in Takachiho and Mt. Sobo. Minerals such as smoky quartz and axinite are also produced here.

It is located deep in the Kyushu Mountains, and looking at the map, it is at the western end of the Nankai Trough, making it an area susceptible to major crustal movements, and I believe that this is also the reason for the minerals that were born. In southern Kyushu, the eruption of Mount Shinmoedake was a precursor to the Tohoku earthquake, and there are places throughout the Japanese archipelago that show signs of the beginning or foreshadowing of major crustal movements, which I believe may also provide hints for the legend of the descent of the heavenly grandson and the origins of Japanese mythology.

Among the Miyazaki crystals, the clear quartz Itaya crystal has a very strong brilliance that draws you in, and its many metaphysical elements and appearance often remind me of Russian Lemurian. It may not have the same compulsive power as Russian Lemurian, but it has a softer feel to it, and I think it has a very strong impact in terms of subconscious tectonic shifts.

Considering that it is a domestically produced quartz crystal, I think there is a high degree of synchronization with the stone, and the fact that stones with strong messages have appeared is also a message for us, and its coercive power may be no less than that of Rosillem.

Materials + Care
  • We offer natural, unpolished quartz crystals in our shop.
In rare cases, a polished surface may appear on a terminal or prism face of a crystal. In such cases, this will always be clearly stated in the product description. If no such note is included, the crystal is unpolished.

  • If there is any noticeable damage, it will be shown in the photographs or mentioned in the product description. As these are natural minerals, please enjoy such features as part of the crystal’s unique character.

  • Quartz crystals are sensitive to dryness, so we recommend periodic cleansing with water as part of their care.
