DETAIL
NOTE
White quartz is pure, luminous whiteness itself feels like part of the quiet healing presence often associated with trigonic quartz.
The trigonic markings run across the terminal facets like flashes of lightning, yet at the same time they resemble the trail of a shooting star.
Trigonic patterns appear on every terminal facet of the crystal.
On the back, the surface shows the wrinkled, almost blistered texture characteristic of trigonic quartz, resembling a form of recrystallization.
From this area, trigonic patterns continue toward the front and side terminal facets.
The base is self-healed, and triangular depressions resembling trigonic or record-keeper markings can also be observed.
Like many trigonic quartz crystals, it possesses a strong inner luminosity — a light that seems to glow from within the crystal itself.
Various lines and geometric patterns appear on the prism faces as well, forming shapes that almost look like symbols or a map.
When observing the blistered surface typical of trigonic quartz, it becomes clear that its growth differs from that of ordinary quartz.
There must have been some form of interference either during or after its growth.
Having observed many quartz crystals over the years, I have come to feel that trigonic quartz may be one form of recrystallized quartz.
The powerful healing resonance often associated with trigonic quartz may come from this very process —
as if the crystal endured trials across its entire body, and in doing so developed an especially strong force of restoration.
In recrystallized quartz, not only the surface but the crystal itself often gains remarkable clarity.
Like the Meru crystals of the Himalayas, they can possess a chandelier-like brilliance that seems to shine from within.
This is different from simple transparency.
It feels as though the crystal itself is trying to emit light.
Perhaps it is because the stone itself has begun to awaken a quiet capacity for healing.
