ウクライナ産の珪化木のスフィアとスタンドです。
台座も同じ石で作られた珍しい研磨品です。

スタンドのスフィアを置く部分はわずかに丸く凹んでおり、そこにちょこんと乗せて触ると、台座の上でくるくると地球儀のように回るのです。

インテリアとして飾れるだけでなく、スフィアを転がせるので、いろんな角度から見ることが出来ます。

地層のようなボーダーに、大きな空洞があり、キラキラしたドゥルージーの石英の結晶が見られます。
珪化木の隙間の至る所に結晶の輝きが見られ、画像よりもずっと華やかです。

スタンドの方はまるでモンブランのようで、砂糖をまぶした様にキラキラしているんですよ。

Planets earthのシリーズの中でとても渋い3点。
まるで海が生まれる前の原始地球を思わせます。

全てウクライナ産ですが、コモンオパールや珪化木など、自然界の化石層の産物でした。
実際にこの地域の古い地層から生まれた鉱物なのではないかと思います。
