モザイクの結晶を持つホワイト・アゲートのオベリスク・ポリッシュ。

こんなに白いアゲートは初めて？久しぶりに？見ました。

カルセドニーでは...？と思いましたが、アゲートだとか。
アゲートもカルセドニーもお仲間ですけどね。

薄っすらと青色が入っていて、白さを引き立てます。
ブルーカルセドニーのような雰囲気なので、限りなくカルセドニーに近いアゲートでしょうか...
不透明なので、アゲートということでしょうか。

底面の角に天然石由来のカケがありますが、ご理解ください。

アゲート

アゲート（瑪瑙）は西洋で護符として愛され、また富や健康をもたらすと言う言い伝えがあります。悪霊を祓い強い守護力で有名なオニキスもアゲートの一種です。アゲートには周囲の悪い気を封じ込める力があるのかもしれません。

アゲートは生物や微生物の死骸などの有機体から生成されるものもあり、オパールや石英などの堆積物が鉱物化したものでもあります。その成り立ちから、さまざまな成分の集合体でもあります。

アゲートはもともと西洋の農民の間で豊饒を象徴する言い伝えがあります。
